More museum sketches

Finally did some more drawing at the Detroit Institute of Arts the other day, British galleries this time. Marble and ceramic busts draw in pencil.

Good details and contrast between dark shadows and white areas. You may know the work of the Greek-Italian surrealist artist Giorgio de Chirico, much of whose work you can browse at This one,, has the same feel as your drawings.

Somewhere in Time

...on page 58, actually, of the August 29, 2016 issue of Time magazine. That's where there's a small photo of the Little Library I painted, the one in front of the Hatch Art gallery! So that's a first.
